Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler:

Christian kicked off Friday Night Smackdown with a match against Dolph Ziggler. As he made his way to the ring they went back to Monday Night on Raw where Christian viciously attacked Sheamus after his match. While they waited for Dolph to come to the ring they showed that Alberto DelRio was joining them on commentary. The bell rang and they circled each other before locking up. Dolph got Christian in a side headlock before Christian took him into the ropes. Christian pushed him off and took a shoulder block from Ziggler as he came back off the ropes at him.

Christian rolled to his knees as Ziggler taunted him but shaking his hips and running his fingers through his hair. Christian got back to his feet and prepared to lock up once more. They touched hands and Christian got Ziggler with a quick kick to the mid section and then slapped him across the face. Christian stayed on him as they went to the ropes and whipped him across the ring. Ziggler ducked the clothesline twice and then grabbed onto the ropes to stop. He taunted Christian again which caused him to run at him.

Ziggler ducked him and went to the ropes, when he came off he took Christian down hard and then motioned for Christian to bring it as he got to his feet. Christian was angry now as he walked over to Ziggler and he had a few words for him before slapping him hard across the face. Ziggler grabbed Christian taking him to the mat and unloading on him with right hands. Christian got away and Ziggler was on him throwing him on his back before dropping an elbow on him five times as the crowd counted.

Christian got away again and Ziggler grabbed him putting him on his back again and hit him four more times, as the crowd picked up the count. He did his little show off routine before dropping number ten on him. He went for the cover but it was not enough to keep the captain down. Ziggler was looking cocky as we went over to Christian again but he grabbed him shoved him out of the ring. Christian went for a baseball slide but Ziggler sidestepped it. Christian then went for a clothesline and he ducked that as well.

Ziggler went after Christian and this time he caught him doing a flapjack and dropping him hard onto the ring apron. Christian grabbed him by the hair and then moved setting him up for a monkey flip into the steel steps. Christian rolled back into the ring as Ziggler lay on the floor holding his head. Christian slapped his chest as the ref counted on Ziggler. The crowd was cheering Dolph and when Christian raised his hands, they booed him.
Ziggler just made it back into the ring in time and Christian went right after him, stomping on him repeatedly. He then grabbed Ziggler by the hair, pulling him to his feet. He slapped Ziggler across the face and then walked over and stood on the back of his neck as he lay on the bottom rope. He stepped off before the ref reached five. Christian pulled Ziggler up he tried to fight back with right hands to Christian’s mid section. He broke away and went to the ropes but when he came off Christian caught him with a forearm, taking him to the mat and then going for the pin. It was not enough to keep Ziggler down.

Christian straddled Ziggler and grabbed him by the hair he drilled him once with a right hand and then stood up before hitting him again. Christian stood over him and put his hand to his ear as the crowd booed him. Ziggler was clutching at Christian’s leg as he reached down and hit him again. Ziggler reached up and pulled Christian down, trying to get a pin on him but Christian was able to kick out. Both men got to their feet and Christian caught him with a clothesline taking him to the mat once more. Christian again went for the pin but Ziggler kicked out.

Christian grabbed him by the hair again drawing him to his feet. Christian threw him through the ring ropes to the floor outside. The ref backed Christian off and DelRio looked at him with a smile before Christian made his way out of the ring after him. Christian grabbed him by the hair and slammed him into the announce table. Christian stalked after him and rolled him back into the ring. Christian slid back into the ring under the bottom rope and then lifted himself up onto the top turnbuckle. He stood up and wiggled his hips mocking Ziggler before jumping off nailing him with a missile drop kick. Christian went for the cover but it wasn’t quite enough to keep Ziggler down.

Christian didn’t let up as he spun around and grabbed him in a face lock keeping him on the mat. Ziggler fought his way back to his feet as Christian tried to hang on. Ziggler struck back with right hands to the mid section but it was short lived as he grabbed Ziggler’s hair and slammed him backwards onto the mat. Christian walked over to the ropes and appeared to be pulling Ziggler’s hair from his fingers. Christian went back over and grabbed him by the hair again bringing him to his feet and positioning him under the bottom rope. Ziggler tried to break free as Christian grabbed his leg and then flipped Ziggler up into the bottom ropes.

Christian pulled him into the ring a bit and then used the ropes, jumping up and then stomping down on Ziggler’s shoulder and chest area. Christian slapped his chest again and put his hand to his ear once more. He walked over and grabbed Ziggler’s head twisting it as he cried out and trying to make him submit. He yelled at the crowed to shut up as Ziggler fought to his feet and then dropped down driving his head up into Christian’s chin. Christian fell to his knees. Christian tried to shake it off and get back to his feet.

Ziggler grabbed him but Christian shot back with an elbow shot. He went into the corner and when Ziggler came after him he hit him with a back kick before going for the spring board. Unfortunately, he waited too long and Ziggler caught him with a kick to the face in midair. Christian rolled over dazed, onto his stomach and was pounding on the mat as he moved on the mat. Both men were slow to get to their feet and Christian struck out first with a right hand to Ziggler.

They exchanged blows as the crowd cheered. Christian got a kick to the mid section in before whipping him into the ropes. Ziggler came off with a high cross body and then repeatedly hit Christian with right hands as they were down on the mat. Christian got away and went to the corner but Ziggler went right after him jumping on the second rope and trapping him. He hit Christian with right hands before pulling him out of the corner. He grabbed Christian by the head and turned him over before dropping him with a neck breaker.

Ziggler went for the pin but Christian managed to kick out again. When they got to their feet Ziggler grabbed at Christian but he shoved him off before grabbing him and trying for the Killswitch. Christian turned it over but Ziggler slipped and leap frogged over him. Ziggler turned around and leapt at Christian again and caught him with a DDT. It still wasn’t enough to keep Christian down.

Christian got to his feet and looked to be begging for a time out. When Ziggler got close the grabbed his legs making him fall to his back and went for a pin using the ropes but the ref caught him. Christian looked at the ref as he yelled at him. Ziggler jumped him from behind trying for the Zig Zag but Christian held onto the ropes to counter it. Christian went into the corner and when Ziggler came at him he lifted his legs kicking him in the face. Christian grabbed him, played to the crowd before attempting a Tornado DDT but Ziggler pulled lose, and took a shot at him.

Ziggler instead ran up and grabbed Christian by the back of the head before dropping down and driving him face first into the mat. Ziggler once again went for the pin but still could not pin Christian. DelRio decided to stand on the announce table as the men were lying on the mat inside the ring. They got to their feet and Ziggler went for the Fame-ass-er but just then, DelRio distracted him allowing Christian to grab him and hit him with the Killswitch. Christian picks up the win!

The crowd booed as Christian celebrated and then Renee Young got into the ring to congratulate Christian and then began to ask him about calling himself a desperate man and he yelled at the crowd to shut up so he could hear her questions. She then asked him why he was directing all his anger and frustration at Sheamus. He said suddenly “I’m the angry one, for some reason Sheamus is the good guy in all this” and just then Sheamus’s music hit. Renee got out of the ring as Sheamus ran down and Christian tried to jump him as soon as he came under the bottom rope.

Sheamus grabbed hold of Christian and backed him into the corner. Sheamus unloaded on him with right hands as Christian tried to shield himself from his blows. He grabbed Christian, threw him across the ring, and tried to Brogue kick him as he got up. Fortunately, he ducked it and rolled out of the ring to safety. Christian ran up the ramp, tripping and falling but escaping Sheamys’s wrath. Looks like this isn’t over just yet.
