Fatal Four Way Match:

Last night on Monday Night Raw Christian joined in a Fatal Four Way Match to determine the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. He stepped into the ring against other former World Heavyweight Champions, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, and Alberto DelRio. As soon as the bell rang, Sheamus went right after Christian who quickly exited the ring. Sheamus caught up to him and beat him down along the ring barrier as DelRio and Ziggler fought inside the ring. Sheamus grabbed Christian by the hair and pulled him to his feet before throwing him into the ring barrier near the timekeeper. Sheamus left Christian and joined DelRio in the ring before it was just Sheamus and Ziggler.

DelRio and Christian finally got back into the ring as Christian went for a pin on Sheamus. Sheamus kicked out as Christian grabbed him by the hair pulling him to his feet. He slapped him in the face before exchanging right hands with Sheamus. Sheamus went after Christian who pulled the ropes and caused him to go over. Christian waited for him to get up to his feet before doing a sling shot over the ropes. Sheamus caught him in mid air as Christian tried to kick free. He threw him backwards hard into the ring barrier as DelRio and Ziggler continued in the ring.

Sheamus went after Ziggler and went to pound on his chest. DelRio went for a kick to the head and missed as Ziggler dropped out of the way. He grabbed Ziggler again but he grabbed Sheamus dropping down and doing a hangman on the ropes. Christian was back on his feet leaning against the ring post as Sheamus got put out of the ring. As Ziggler and DelRio fought inside the ring, Christian got involved. He grabbed Ziggler’s ankles and pulled him out of the ring under the bottom rope. He hit Ziggler before turning his attention back to Sheamus. Christian pulled Sheamus to his feet and Sheamus fired a shot into his mid section He hit him with a right hand sending him back into the barrier before clothing him and taking them both over. That is where he stayed for more of the commercial break.

Ziggler and DelRio were still in the ring as Sheamus and Christian were finally getting to their feet. Sheamus went after DelRio and finally Christian went after Sheamus again. Sheamus got him with a shot to the mid section and a right hand before picking him up in a fireman’s carry. Christian kicked out of it though and slid down before shoving Sheamus into the ring post where he hit his left shoulder. Christian quickly climbed up on the struts from the outside and leapt off for a high cross body to Ziggler. He hit it but Ziggler used the momentum to carry him over and got a two count on Christian as he narrowly escaped.

Christian was quickly right back on his feet and clocked Ziggler sending him back into the corner. Christian used the ropes as he jumped up and stomped down on Ziggler. He grabbed a hand full of Ziggler’s hair pulling him to his feet as the crowd chanted for Ziggler. Christian got him to his feet and slapped him hard across the face. He then stood on his head as Ziggler cried out in pain. Christian got down and rolled Ziggler over for the pin but he managed to kick out. Christian tried to stay on him as he pulled him to his feet once more and Ziggler shot back with a right hand to the mid section before following up with a few right hands.

Christian shot back with a knee to the midsection on Ziggler and then grabbed him by the head before throwing him out of the ring to the floor. Christian turned around to come face to face with Sheamus who knocked him to the mat with a clothesline. Christian was quickly back to his feet but was taken down again. He went into the corner where Sheamus rammed him in the midsection before hitting him with a running knee. Christian fell to the mat dazed as DelRio came in and got caught with the Irish Curse. When Christian came at him he grabbed him and tossed him over the top rope to the outside. While the action continued in the ring, Christian crawled around the outside and seemed to be looking for an opening. Sheamus got up on the top turnbuckle for a move but was caught by Ziggler who jumped off and drove him face first into the ring mat. Ziggler went for the pin but Sheamus kicked out.

Christian got into the ring and went after Ziggler pulling him to his feet. He took a swing and missed as Ziggler ducked him. Christian went into the corner and Ziggler leapt up on the second rope unloading on right hands before pulling him out and hitting him with a neck breaker. Christian rolled out of the ring as DelRio attacked Ziggler. Christian got up on the ring apron and caught Ziggler with a reversed hangman before sliding back into the ring. He tried to stay on Ziggler but he caught him with a kick to the midsection. Ziggler went for the Fame Asser but Christian reversed it power bombing him to the mat and trying to pick up the pin however DelRio came in and kicked Christian in the back of the head.

DelRio tried to pin Christian but Sheamus broke it up. Christian lay in the ring while Sheamus fought to put DelRio in the cloverleaf. When Christian got to his feet Sheamus broke the hold and body slammed Christian. Sheamus then looked at DelRio and Christian as if deciding which one to Brogue Kick. Sheamus went for Christian but DelRio kicked him in the stomach preventing it.

DelRio went for the cross arm breaker but Sheamus would NOT kick out. He managed to turn it around and actually lifted DelRio right off the mat. As he did Ziggler came out of nowhere with the ZigZag but before he could try for a pin Christian grabbed him and hit him with the Killswitch picking up the win!

After the match, Big E got into the ring and tried to shake hands with Christian. Christian laughed it off and left the ring looking confident. He said later in an interview he was there to win championships not make friends. He walked out as the #1 Contender for the Intercontinental Title and was scheduled to face Big E live on Main Event on the WWE Network Tuesday Night. *As of this posting WWE.com has reported that Christian will NOT be facing Big E tonight and gave no reason why. It was just suggested that we tune in for more details.*
