Match Results: Christian vs. Jack Swagger

Christian faced Jack Swagger again last night on Monday Night Raw. Swagger came to the ring accompanied by Zeb and Antonio Cesaro. Christian started clapping his hands together to get the crowd going as the match got underway. They circled each other inside the ring before locking up. Swagger slipped behind Christian and grabbed him around the midsection taking him to the mat. He moved grabbing Christian around the neck and doing a gator roll with him a few times before pulling him to his feet. Swagger grabbed him by the head and took him into the corner throwing him into the turnbuckles. Swagger followed this up with a shoulder to the midsection before the ref backed him off.

He went after Christian with a right hand before the ref backed him off yet again. Swagger trash talked Christian before grabbing him and whipping him into the other corner. Swagger went in after him and Christian slipped through the ropes hitting Swagger with a Pendulum kick. Christian was on the ropes as Swagger came at him and he lifted him up dumping him over the ropes to the outside. Zeb was coaching Swagger as he got to his feet but when he turned around he walked right into a baseball slid from Christian.

Christian directed his attention towards Zeb as Swagger got back to his feet. Christian did a slingshot over the ropes but Swagger ran out of the way. Christian landed on the ring apron. Swagger tried to knock his legs out from under him but Christian jumped over him. Christian tried to kick Swagger who grabbed his ankle and yanked on it causing Christian to land hard chest first onto the ring apron before falling to the floor. Zeb laughed and encouraged Swagger to keep on him. After kicking his flag out of the way Swagger grabbed Christian by the throat and threw him into the steel stairs. He shouted at him before grabbing him again, pulling him to his feet and throwing him back into the ring. Swagger went for the cover but Christian kicked out before three. Swagger had words with the ref before grabbing Christian by the wrist and dragging him. Christian was on his feet in the corner as Swagger set him up. He whipped Christian into the corner and followed it up with a knee to the mid section. He brought Christian out of the corner with a hip toss before going for another failed cover.

Swagger grabbed Christian pulling his arms back and hooking his hands stretching his arms back in a submission move. Christian was calling on the Peeps as he waved his hands and fought to get to his feet. He fought his way out and broke the hold turning around to nail Swagger with a right hand twice before Swagger pushed him away. Christian went into the ropes and when Swagger dropped his head Christian kicked him sending him backwards. Christian went to the ropes again Swagger caught him lifting him up putting him in a fireman’s carry. He ran him into the corner driving him into the turnbuckle before slamming him to the mat and trying for another pin.

Christian kicked out again much to the frustration of Swagger. He shouted at Christian as he made his way to the ropes and he was hanging on the bottom one as Swagger stepped on him, half choking him on the bottom rope. The forced him to break away and backed him off. Christian rolled onto his back as Swagger decided to act cocky. He walked over to Christian and slapped his head and trash talked him slapping him in the face as well. He stomped on Christian’s mid section before grabbing his hair and drilling him in the face. He did this twice before looking out at the crowd.

He walked back over to Christian and went around him climbing up on the ring ropes. He did his “We the People” before jumping off to hammer Christian but he brought his feet up counter the attack and sending Swagger backwards. He fell down in the corner as Christian rolled away and looked to his Peeps once more. He got to his feet as the fans cheered and ducked Swagger’s attempted clothesline before rounding on him and slapping him across the face. Christian went to the corner and went up, delivering a missile drop kick. Christian was crawling and pounding on the mat to get the crowd going. He went to the ropes but when he came off Swagger caught him with a knee lifter sending him flipping over and crashing to the mat.

Swagger grabbed Christian up and tried for the gut wrench power bomb but Christian blocked it but grabbing onto his leg. When that didn’t work he hammered Christian in the kidney area and tried again. Christian used the momentum to flip himself over behind Swagger and hit the inverted falling DDT. Christian went for the cover but Swagger managed to kick out. Christian clapped his hands together drawing in the crowd once more as he moved to his feet, scouting Swagger for the Killswitch.

Christian grabbed him for the Killswitch but Swagger turned and tried to clothesline him. Christian ducked it and when Swagger came at him, again he got him with the drop toe take down putting him on the second rope. Christian did a slingshot over the rope to the outside and slapped Swagger across the face. Christian quickly got on the ring apron and grabbed Swagger from behind before dropping down and snapping him back against the ring ropes. Christian was right back up on the ring apron and went up the turnbuckles. He went for a high cross body but Swagger caught him in mid air and dropped him down into the Patriot lock.

Christian reversed it much quicker this time, rolling through and using his free foot to kick Swagger in the head forcing him to release the hold. Christian got to his feet and went for the Killswitch but Swagger got out and shoved Christian into the corner. Swagger went after him and Christian hit him with a back kick before trying for a Springboard. Swagger grabbed his left ankle and pulled him down causing him to crash to the mat but this didn’t stop Christian. Swagger went for the Swagger Bomb but Christian put his feet up catching him in the face again.

Christian jumped up and went for the springboard. This time he landed it rolling Swagger through and picked up the pin. Christian quickly rolled out of the ring as Swagger screamed with frustration and Zeb got into the ring as Antonio shook his head in disappointment. Zeb was telling Swagger how close he came as Christian lay against the barrier with a smile on his face. He got to his feet and walked up the ramp signaling for one more match It was later announced that Christian would face Randy Orton on this weeks Smackdown!
